CUHK EMBA Women Leadership Chapter
Executive Roundtable: From Architect to CEO — The Art of Leading with Strength and Grace
How does an architect move beyond the boundaries of a profession to become the CEO of a Hong Kong-listed REIT?
And through more than two decades of career transitions, leadership decisions and changing market cycles, how does one develop an authentic way of leading — and ultimately redefine success?
The CUHK EMBA Women Leadership Chapter is pleased to invite you to an intimate executive roundtable with Christina Hau, former Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer of Champion REIT.
Christina began her career in architecture before moving across development, commercial operations, asset management, investment and enterprise leadership. In this conversation, she will reflect on her journey from architect to CEO, the choices and turning points that shaped her career, and how she developed her own approach to leadership as a woman executive.
Discussion Highlights
Breaking Professional Boundaries
From designing spaces to leading businesses, and from managing assets to developing people and organisations — how to continue evolving beyond established professional identities.
Leading with Strength and Grace
Blending Eastern wisdom with modern enterprise leadership — knowing when to be firm in difficult decisions, when to lead with empathy, and how to balance change with what should remain constant.

Staying grounded through change, uncertainty and pressure, while continually reassessing what success, value and purpose mean at different stages of career and life.
